Enough is Enough...
After years of watching customers decorating their rooms every evening until midnight, or spending all weekend painting the new skirting, we feel it’s about time we helped out.
As we all know, now is not the best time to move house, and so more and more people are improving their homes. But this usually ends up with the job dragging on taking up all your spare time, which I am sure you would rather put to better use. We would like to help you in this.
As an existing customer you will already be aware of the standard of workmanship we offer, and amazing results on your finished floor, whether it’s carpet, vinyl, laminate or wood.
We’ve all seen the local paper and their rather corny ‘don’t move-improve’ sections. It is a great idea, but where do you start, just because a trade has placed an advert in the paper does that mean they are reliable, or any good, and it’s the same with yellow pages, where do you start? This is where we can help.
This is an offer to you for us to extend this service throughout the whole of your room, the ceiling, architrave, skirting and walls, not just the flooring.
Can you imagine the complete service to transform your entire room in one or two weeks, not 1 hour as one TV show, or 3 days as another TV show, we feel your room deserves a whole week or even two weeks of our time and attention.
This idea came from Nicky about 3 weeks ago. I started to decorate our spare room, sometime before Christmas!, well I started ripping off wallpaper before Christmas, and then things came to a standstill, for a few months. The room was a mess, the wallpaper was half off, the curtains were down, but you know what it’s like, I tried to make time at the weekends but it never happened, and it was difficult in the evenings, so this decorating dragged on and on.
So Nicky got fed up and took matters into her own hands, She arranged for a plasterer to come and skim the ceiling, to get rid of the textured ceiling we had, she also ordered new skirting, and architrave and then booked a decorator, she then told me when he was coming, so that I could get the architrave and skirting fitted before his arrival, she then arranged our carpet fitters to fit the carpet. The entire room was finished within one week, it was great. The decorating was done to a much higher standard then I could have done it. The rooms looks really nice, and more importantly Nicky is happy!
She was discussing this with one of her friends, who said ‘ I wouldn’t know where to start in contacting good reliable trades’, so we started thinking... why don’t we offer this service to our existing customers?
We can arrange as much or as little work to be carried out as you wish. From plastering walls, to skimming ceilings, to covering up ‘borrowed lights’ to changing skirting and architrave, to decorating and of course finishing off with the floorcoverings of your choice, be it vinyl, carpet, laminate or wood. A whole all round package, you just need to make the decisions on what work you want completed, colours and what type of flooring, and then sit back and wait for the work to be completed.
Just think, no more painting at 11 o’clock at night by light bulb, no more glossing those skirtings, you can have your weekends free and still get that room finished.
This isn’t going to be available to the general public, this is purely a service we would like to offer our existing customers, we have contacts with all trades, and would like to share those with you, and also share work with the tradesmen that we know do a really good job, we know because we’ve used them in our own home.
Just one more thing we would like to make clear. We are currently rated 9.8 out of 10 on checkatrade. Any trades that we use for your home makeover, will at no point jeopardise this rating what so ever. We want you to feel confident with the trades we use for your makeover.
